I've got a damn cold, and I know exactly why it happened. The majority of the blame for my current shitty health condition falls on the ice-cold beers I had the other day, but I also have to point my finger at the constantly changing weather. As I've mentioned in a few previous posts, this is probably the worst spring I've experienced in this country.
It's been raining way too much...
Once again, it rained heavily, and we even had a bit of a storm this afternoon. There were bolts of lightning, thunder, and heavy raindrops falling from the sky for about half an hour. One lightning strike hit a power transformer close to my town, resulting in an unexpected power cut that lasted about three hours.
Honestly, I didn't enjoy the experience, but I can't say it affected me too much because I slept almost the entire time. I took some cold pills today, and they made me really sleepy...
In fact, I had two naps this afternoon, which is quite a personal record, to be frank...
At one point, I forced myself to go outside when the rain seemed to be subsiding. I found myself standing in front of the house with nothing to do, so I started taking pictures of the roses we have here. The raindrops on the flowers made them look sharper and more romantic.
However, there are plenty of insects "making a living" off these flowers, and I managed to capture some of them with my camera.
I genuinely adore roses; they are my favorite flowers, to be honest. I'm so selfish when it comes to this preference that whenever I give someone flowers, I always choose roses. I particularly love the red ones, but I also have a soft spot for the pink and white varieties. What I don't love is this damn cough I've developed.
Hopefully, it'll be gone by tomorrow morning. I really want to hit the gym. Now it's time to hit the bed. I hope you all had a fantastic weekend, and I'll see you tomorrow. What a lovely, rainy, and sublime Sunday...

I hope you feel better soon ! White roses are the best, they always seem to me to have more scent to them. Or maybe I'm a secret Yorkist.....
So far I'm not feeling better but I sure I will in a couple of days.
