trip to the mountains. super8

in january, i took a trip to the mountains with a super8 film camera. here are some stills from the film.

it looks lo-fi, blurry, and under/overexposed. but i like it as it is.

it's possibly my last super8 film roll. it's too expensive to buy and scan. the lab where i developed it is now closed. it was the only one available to me.

p.s. i also like the stills from the film leader.

This footage looks so warm ... and kinda mysterious... interesting how much pleasure an old-fashioned mudlled picture can provide to the eye after looking at too much HD digital stuff. The post is too old for a meaningful upvote, but for a comment, is never too late. I like this post very much. The compositions are great throughout ... that's, I think, the main reason why this looks so good.

Upvotes are good, but comments are priceless, especially comments like this. Thank you!

While it was a pleasure to use a mechanical camera, it was hard to shoot with such old camera. The viewfinder there was really dark. I’m glad compositions are turn out good
