Four different photo stories

Hello, dear photography lovers! For the past few weeks I haven't been able to go out much on my photography walks, I only squeezed half an hour here and there while finishing some other obligations. Here I compiled few photos from several different occasions over this time span, each different in atmosphere.

1. Winter hibernation

First we climb to the home attic and look through the roof window at the snow covered surroundings. Family houses and fields of trees alternate and create a magical, frosty scene. In the distance everything disappears into a shroud of soft mist. It looks like the village is in winter hibernation. Capturing this from an elevated perspective, I aimed to freeze this moment of tranquil beauty.

2. Cold chronicles

On a cold, cloudy day, with raindrops sporadically dancing in the air, I embarked on a quick street photo walk. Covered in layers of clothing, people traversed the city in long coats and wielded umbrellas as shields against the elements (have to admit, women here are much more stylistic than men). I am always drawn to the fascinating stories etched on the faces and body language of passersby.

3. Light and shadow interplay

The sun greeted us this day and shadows painted sharp silhouettes against the warmth of the sunlight. I focused my lens on passengers navigating the pools of light and dark. The cityscape has a strong tone to it, with building facades creating a dynamic backdrop. It results in some contrasty, warm images capturing the duality of city life under the interplay of sunlight and shadow.

4. Night chronicles

Street photography at night is a canvas of flashing car lights and mysterious silhouettes. Belgrade comes alive each night with the rhythmic movement of people. Each frame needs to be captured exactly at the right moment; a hesitation for a split second and the scene is gone. The kaleidoscope of colors and the play of shadows made for a few moments worthy of preserving.
