Sometimes, to truly understand a town, you just need to see it from above.
Sim sits in a river valley, nestled among hills and forests, with barely any clear boundary between it and the surrounding landscape. You could call it a town, technically, but it feels more like an oversized village, where life moves at an unhurried pace among the trees and water.
Step away from the houses and you're quickly on the slopes, with a view back down at Sim. The river runs through it, the forest begins just beyond the last buildings, and hills rise on every side — none of it feels separate or distinct. The place simply lives within the landscape.
This becomes most apparent in summer. The slopes turn vivid green, rooftops cluster below, and roads wind away between the hills, making the whole place seem to dissolve into its surroundings. And that's when you realize: some towns simply don't need much space. Sim has never seemed particularly concerned about it.
