Greetings, hive friends and photography lovers. I'd like to show you some photos I took this morning. I have a fairly varied garden at home. I have several types of flowering plants and some cacti. Caring for these plants is one of my hobbies, and I even find it a little relaxing, tending them every day.
I think one of the best gifts nature can give you is being able to appreciate the colors of a flower, and it's a priceless gift when, after all the effort of caring for them, you end up with a beautiful bloom.
The one you can see now is a red flower, which belongs to a type of lily I have. This flower is unusual because its petals are very thick, and the trunk of the plant is protected by many thorns.
The sunflower is next. But this isn't just any sunflower; we know it here as the sunflowerillo. If you look closely, it's very small, hence the name, which literally means little sunflower.
What you can see now is a pipita plant. Its flower is very thin and has elongated petals. This flower usually produces a small fruit that resembles a cherry, but is not edible.
The purple flower you can see now is a sweet plant flower. It's called that because the flower is sweet if you bite it or suck the nectar.
As a final photo, I want to show you one of my miniature cacti. These don't grow any bigger than that. They're very small and perfect for decorating a garden or a table inside the house. Despite their name, their spines are soft and don't prick. These were the photos I wanted to show you of my garden. Thank you for looking.
