This is my entry for the Photography Lovers Community Macro Photo contest -Amateur tier
This is a supermacro of a rusting piece of metal on a shipwreck. The metal has been exposed to the elements and submerged each tide for over 100 years. To me it looks like some vast solar system.
This is a thumbnail sized area of a tidal rockpool-you don't even realise this type of micro universe exists until you enter the wonderful world of macro!
I love taking flower macros and I didn't even know the ant was actually there taking centre stage until I got the image up on a screen!
