Yes! These are only visible in very clean air. Beautiful shots! I have seen this balloon in the air many times, but somehow I didn't have the opportunity to try a ride :)

Thanks for the confirmation :) We also saw the mountains from the observation tower of the Krakow Sanktuarium. It was a sunny day with great visibility too. You should try the balloon ride btw, the views are really amazing ;)
