How beautiful is the frog in the first painting... its hidden beauty!
I love how colourful all the paintings are, the colours really stand out and I love that, as you say, regardless of the subject matter. And yes, I think the still life could be abstract, it has its characteristics... I love all those still lifes.
Today, the one that caught my eye... because the paintings call out to me is this one, but I don't know why. I think it's because it's water, but I see things in the water like leaves, and I really like the contrast with the yellow!
