This post can be attributed to mushroom lovers... but it's not about mushrooms. This post is about photography, or rather about the possibilities of Mr. Helios (44-2). Yes, I went to the forest and I had a basket and a knife for mushrooms. Yes, I picked mushrooms, good mushrooms. But mostly I was doing photography.
Usually in Helios 44-2 I flip the front lens. This gives sharpness in the center of the frame (at the open aperture) and blurring of what is on the periphery of the frame. It all becomes similar to the bokeh variant, even if it conditionally fell into the focal length.
This time the front lens was standing as usual, but I turned the rear lens over at the lens. At the same time, I have significantly reduced the distance from which I can shoot objects. I can focus up to about 3 meters. If my object is further away... I'm not talking about focusing on infinity at all.
But for shooting close-ups, this use case of Mr. Helios is great. You can even shoot macro.
Mushrooms, of course, I also did not forget.
But this pale beauty is deadly poisonous. There is no antidote for her toxin. It's a pale toadstool. There were too many of them this time.
And some foliage to say goodbye.

Those are some really awesome pictures! I absolutely love how those turned out. Very cool effect by flipping the lens. I've tried that before but solely for inside macro shots. you've done really well with it.
I like this effect. To get air bubbles, it is necessary that different light areas get into the frame.
