Everything came from the lake. To get this frame, I had to wait 8 minutes from pressing the shutter to writing to the memory card. The fresh snow was crisp and white and reflected any light. Therefore, you might think that this is the day and I just applied some kind of filter. But the dark sky and black horizon will be my witnesses.
Fortunately, there was no strong wind. At such a long exposure in the wind, the branches would turn out to be blurry. Street lights provided lighting, but they all had different light temperatures. So I changed the tint in post processing and my night became a little lilac.

Поэтому вы можете подумать, что это день и я просто применил какой-нибудь фильтр. Но тёмное небо и чёрный горизонт будут моими свидетелями.
К счастью не было сильного ветра. На такой длинной выдержке при ветре ветки получились бы смазанными. Освещение давали уличные фонари, но все они имели разную температуру света. Поэтому я изменил тонировку при пост обработке и моя ночь стала немного сиреневой.
It was interesting for me to walk through the night village. Everything looks different at night than during the day. Moreover, the day before the trees were covered with frost and an additional light fluffy snow fell.
This transformed the trees above all. The tree crowns illuminated by street lamps created an unreal feeling. The impression was that you were in a fairy tale.
Each lantern had its own mese-en-scene. It was its own little world. Magic decorations and fairy-tale characters. I just do not have enough words to convey those feelings. Let the lilac shade help us.
I have a lot of photos from this walk, but I want to process them in different ways. The first series was in black and white. This one is purple, and what the next episode will be, I have not yet decided. If interested, follow the news.

I almost forgot what winter looks like. And true, at night there is a different world. I can only imagine the silence if there was no wind. This typical winter silence, when the only noise is the cracking snow below your feet. The 3rd is my fav. S novym godom!
We don't have such winters too often. This winter is special. As if she wants to cleanse our world of dirt :) The snow that fell at the end of November never melted. This is rarely the case.

If you don't find snow on the plain, go up to the Alps. I think especially in winter you will find a lot of snow and cleanliness there.
