It was a long time ago. The USSR has not collapsed yet. There was quite a strong agriculture here. New agricultural machinery was being tested in the fields. At the same time, the fields were sown with flax, cereals, potatoes and many other things. Now these fields are overgrown with young forest...
So, at that time it was decided to make a pumping station on the bank of a small river. And in order to have more water, a small dam was built. They just piled large stones across the river... Since then, a lot of water has flowed away and now no one needs this dense, but it has not gone anywhere.
I decided to sneak onto it with a camera. If earlier it was just rocks, now there is grass and bushes. The place is impassable.
Of course, I passed, although I almost hurt my leg. Thick grass hid the rocks, while some of them swayed. In one place, the dam breaks and there is a fast and turbulent current. This place was my goal.
It's a very small patch of rough water, but that's what I wanted to see. I was without a tripod and an HD filter. Therefore, my ability to use long exposure was limited. But nevertheless, something happened.
I hope you didn't get your feet wet traveling with me on my river. It's already autumn and the water is quite cold. I myself was wearing boots :)
