This is the Pont de la Caille, about twenty minutes from Annecy towards GenevaIl s'agit du pont de la Caille, à une vingtaine de minutes d'Annecy en direction de Genève
and it is a magnificent construction which overlooks an impressive abyss, and which is listed as a historic monumentet c'est une magnifique construction qui surplombe un gouffre impressionnant, et qui est inscrite au titre des monuments historiques

In fact this bridge is named Charles-Albert Bridge, named after the Duke of Savoy Charles-Albert, King of Sardinia who commissioned the construction in 1839En fait ce pont a pour nom le pont Charles -Albert, du nom du duc de Savoie Charles-Albert, roi de Sardaigne qui en a commandé la construction en 1839
but nobody knows him under this name, for everyone it is Le pont de la Caille which links together Cruseilles to Allonzier-la-Caille, and it is sometimes also nicknamed "the suicide bridge" ... no need to explain to you why, I presume ...?mais personne ne lui connait ce nom, pour tout le monde c'est le pont de la Caille qui réunit Cruseilles à Allonzier-la-caille, et il est parfois surnommé également "le pont des suicidés"...nul besoin de vous détailler pourquoi je présume...?

This second bridge was built between 1924 and 1928 and bears the name of its engineer (Caquot), it was initially planned to accommodate a railway line between Annecy and Saint-Julien-en-Genevois, but the project was abandoned and the structure was opened to road traffic. How beautiful pictures my dear Barbara😍

Thanks my dear, it was a wonderful afternoon with my friend i hadn't seen her for a while as she was not only confined, but in Spain 😊

Nothing better than spending time with friends that we didn't see long ago. The photos are really beautiful!❤💕
