A great shot doesn't have to always mean a high end camera, much of the time my camera is inside a housing waiting to go on a dive, so often I see a shot and think to myself dam I wish I had my camera but the truth is often in them moments I make do with my very old (in phone terms) iphone 5s. It always surprises me the results I get, here's a sunset from a couple of weeks back.
Phone photo.

Here is a shot taken with my Canon eos 60d (also quite old) of the same boat but on a different day and from a slightly different angle.

Both shots have had a little tweaking and the colouring of the sky is quite different but both are photos any one would be happy to have in their collection. So the point here, if there is one is get the shot no matter what you use, that phone in your pocket is a capable tool and getting better year by year.

Phone cameras are very good these days, I have no idea how they do it, but they do. They can make an average photographer seem not so average and they tend to be with us all the time these days so are always there to capture the shit...When they're not turned on oneself doing a selfie as seems to be the trend these days.
I don't tend to do selfies as it may break the camera:)
Lol, yes I'm afraid mine may also have that effect. I appreciate my equipment more than that. Hey, at least we know what's up. 🙂
