Auto focus can be magical at times and then a huge pain in the butt at other times. Nice shots and video. I remember when I was a kid and we were down in Florida we got to see a space shuttle launch I think.

Exactly right. I thought the flight was going to be on the other side of that darn pole! Maybe next time I'll get to the beach for a better shot without all the houses and clutter!
I feel like we were out in the middle of nowhere, but it has been so long that I don't remember. I think my dad took photos with his camera, I'll have to ask him again this weekend.
