We never used to be able to get firecrackers where I live. They were against the law. You had to go out of state and buy them illegally when I was a kid.

Here it is available round the year...nowadays it is integral.part of wedding too...so we have multiple shops easily traceable.
Ah, that is interesting. Usually they only get popular here around the 4th of July holiday.
