RE: Ocean art ~ Abstracts

in Photography Lovers3 years ago

I like those pictures. I live by a small hidden coven by the sea in the middle of the capital region in Iceland. Park on the other side with only trees and an old cemetery, no traffic, no noise. Those photos remind me of when I have to take time off and think; Walk down to the shore, sit on a stone, and listen to the waves wash ashore. No big waves, just the breath of the ocean. Then the sea becomes more abstract, detached from nature, and attached to my mind. It's an excellent way to think, look and listen to the small waves. Those pictures remind me of those moments of mine.

I dream of what you just described. I'm in Southern California and surrounded in every direction by millions of people. Constant noise, cars, crowds. I'm way too old now to enjoy it. I'm desperate in a sense for some distance from people. I'm not wanting complete isolation just some space and more nature.
