Morning on this beautiful summer (scorcher) day! Yes. We have a big system as we run two households, my dairy and the borehole to put water on all the fields. I don't think we could afford that big system if we were to start over!
Wow! This sounds great, and you are right, as such a system will be very expensive nowadays. Did the place already have the system when you guys moved in?
We are lucky to have a cool morning with some rain drizzles earlier.
Oh no! We did a lot of renovating. The previous owners had moved out years earlier so the century old house was a mess - to say the least. Someone had chopped down the fields of apricot trees. Can you believe it?!! And left half metre stumps. There was an eskom point but not connected. No cell. No landline. Blocked up old borehole. We started from scratch in many regards.
Now that you say this, I seem to remember that you mentioned some of the struggles in some of your posts. Or maybe you didn't as my memory has gone on holiday.
I wonder what their reason was to destroy the apricot orchards? You guys have indeed created wonders since you moved in there.
