Hi Guys
I went beachcombing today looking for some sea shells and sandwashed glass for an art project.
I managed to find a nice collection of glass...
And a nice assortment of shells...
I managed to get quite a few decent photographs of the towns I visited. Both of the towns, Dysart and Kinghorn are on the East coast of Scotland in the kingdom of Fife not far from Edinburgh.
Both towns are really picturesque, its easy to get good sea themed images wandering around them.
My goal here was to try and get a few shots I can turn into paintings.I haven't painted anything since my high school art class 20 years ago.
There's something about these historic seaside towns which I find deeply inspiring ,so hopefully I will manage to make a decent painting of one of these shots.
Along Kinghorn Harbour I found this little harbour shack with a window full of sea treasures...I like the idea of trying to paint this ...
The entrance to the harbour has some sandglass artwork in the concrete...
Sea glass and beach pottery mosaics,I might try adding something like this to my garden...
Some more shots from around the harbourside...
And lastly a few shots I took walking along the beach
Thanks for checking out my post :)!
So many cool shots. I would love to go and visit Scotland one day.
