One of the first things that caught my attention and I photographed were the houses painted in various bright colors. These cute, picturesque homes gave a specific charm to this neighborhood and were a real delight to look at.
Walking through the streets, I came to an imposing building - Mutual Heights. This building stood out with its elegant lines, long glass windows and modern design.
Then I found myself in front of Cape Town City Hall. There was a clock tower on top of the building. In the background, I could see the mountain, its peak enveloped in white fluffy clouds, contrasting the city with the sky.
On one of the balconies of the city hall, a statue of Nelson Mandela was placed. For those of you who don't remember who he is - this is the former president of the Republic of South Africa (some people associate it with the "Mandela effect"). He had his hand raised (as if in greeting, symbolizing his fight for freedom and equality).
I didn't forget to take a few photos of the themed facade of the city hall, decorated with old-fashioned lanterns, which gave the place a somewhat romantic atmosphere.
I finished my tour by going up to the roof of the hotel I was staying at to take panoramic photos of the city. There was a bar where I sat down to have a drink after this exhausting walk :) From this height the view was beautiful - I could see the entire city below me, with its colorful houses, green parks and the sparkling sea in the distance.
As time progressed, the sun began to hide behind the hill in the distance. It was a pleasant end to my today's sightseeing walk around Cape Town, leaving me with good emotions and memories, as well as a desire to come back here again. I definitely needed a change of scenery and a stay in this warm place :)
