Church of the Savior Not Made by Hands

IMG_6003.jpg

Tatarstan, the village of Bolshiye Polyanki. Church of the Savior Not Made by Hands. Construction started in 1862 and completed in 1868. Abandoned in Soviet times, but not completely. Since the mid-90s, the building of the temple has been restored by local residents on their own and with the help of sponsors. Services are now held inside twice a week. Unfortunately, it was not possible to get inside - the priest who had the keys was not in the village

Thanks a lot.🙂

Great job, colleague. I'm very passionate about architectural photographs of churches. It's a shame you couldn't photograph the interior of the church. Thank you for sharing these shots!

I’m also sorry that I wasn’t able to see the temple from the inside... Thank you for your review!

If you're interested, I've had quite a few posts about old abandoned temples.

Of course, I'll see them as soon as possible!

Классные атмосферные снимки👍 Самое главное, что церковь нетронута, никто не изрисовал и не разрушил.

Разрушенные церкви встречал, но разрисованных - не видел еще
