A mined out quarry for iron ore mining in the vicinity of the city of Bakal, Southern Urals. After the resource was exhausted, the quarry was abandoned, it slowly filled with water, and a lake formed at the bottom. Since there is another active quarry nearby, and there is only one road, there is a checkpoint on it. Therefore, we were unable to go down to the water; we had to be content with the view from the observation deck. The photos were taken on May 10, it seems like spring is already on the calendar, but on that day it snowed, and quite a lot. In general, the quarry turned out to be snowy.😁
