Kuibyshev water reservoir

IMG_6046.jpg

The confluence of two rivers - the Volga and the Kama. A man-made reservoir formed after the construction of the Volga HPP named after Lenin in 1955-1957. Considered the third largest in the world. The photographs were taken near the village of Izmeri, where the width of the reservoir is about 30 kilometers. Now the water level has dropped a lot, usually it is a meter higher. That is, the sandy beach that can be seen in the photo is usually flooded

Thanks a lot to you! :)

Really nice shots, I've heard about Volga and Kama but I've never seen such a place before.

Thank you for your feedback :) Once upon a time, I sailed in these places on a tourist ship, and even then the idea came to me to visit these places and look from the shore. So I fulfilled my dream the other day :)

Awesome pictures!
