I had been wanting to take some aerial photos again for a while. Not necessarily to capture a specific subject, but more to see how different the world looks when you don’t view it from the ground. From above, patterns suddenly become clearer, structures look cleaner, and colors behave completely differently than they do in everyday life.
Here is a small selection of what I captured that day.
1 – Apple Trees in Perfect Order
In the first image, you can see small apple trees that are currently being cultivated. I think it looks super cool how perfectly symmetrical everything is. Each tree has roughly the same width and shape. The image is almost entirely green, which makes it very pleasant to look at.
2 – Autumn Forest in Full Color Spectrum
In the next image, we see a forest right in the middle of autumn. You can spot every shade imaginable: browns, greens, yellows – everything mixed together. I absolutely love this photo. The way the colors come together is just crazy.
3 – Glassy Lake With a Tiny Island
This third shot was taken at a very small lake near the Nürburgring. There is this tiny little island in the middle. It’s basically just a fishing pond, but that island makes the whole thing look really beautiful. And if you look at the water: it is completely smooth, like glass, reflecting the clouds perfectly. Incredible.
4 – Not Solar Panels, but Stretched Protective Nets
Image four looks like solar panels at first glance, but they’re not. These are stretched nets, reinforced with additional lines, probably to keep insects or animals from getting in. I honestly can’t tell you exactly what they’re used for – I only saw them from above. But they are definitely not photovoltaic panels.
5 – Autumn Forest With Real Depth
This next image also shows a forest in transition toward late autumn. There are even more brown tones here, and even some white – a few dead trees standing in between. What I really like is how much depth you can see because the spacing between the trees lets you look all the way down to the ground.
6 – The Winter Line at the Forest Edge
In this picture, you can see the edge of the forest. There’s almost no green left here – autumn or even early winter has already taken over. And when you compare it to the previous image, you can clearly tell once again that the earlier patterns were not solar panels, because the surrounding trees are visible from above.
7 – Clean Angle Instead of Cropping
I included this last image to show how much of a difference small adjustments can make. Here, I didn’t crop anything at all – I just tilted the drone slightly differently. And that alone changes the entire vibe because there’s nothing distracting in the frame anymore. Sometimes that’s really all it takes.

Ein paar Eindrücke aus der Luft
Ich wollte schon länger wieder ein paar Aufnahmen von oben machen. Nicht unbedingt, um ein bestimmtes Motiv einzufangen, sondern einfach, um zu sehen, wie unterschiedlich die Welt aussieht, wenn man sie nicht vom Boden aus betrachtet. Aus der Luft wirken Muster plötzlich klarer, Strukturen ordentlicher und Farben ganz anders als im Alltag.
Hier eine kleine Auswahl von dem, was ich an diesem Tag eingefangen habe.
1 – Apfelbäume in perfekter Ordnung
Beim ersten Bild sieht man kleine Apfelbäume, die gerade herangezogen werden. Ich finde es super cool, dass die komplett symmetrisch angeordnet sind und alle ungefähr gleich breit gewachsen sind. Das Bild ist fast komplett grün gehalten, was ich extrem angenehm finde.
2 – Herbstwald in allen Farben
Im nächsten Bild sehen wir einen Wald, der sich gerade im Herbst befindet. Man sieht wirklich alle möglichen Brauntöne, noch Grün, Gelb, es ist wirklich alles dabei. Und ich liebe dieses Foto. Einfach nur Wahnsinn, wie die Farben wirken.
3 – Spiegelglatter See mit Mini Insel
Das dritte Bild ist aufgenommen an einem ganz kleinen See in der Nähe vom Nürburgring. Da sieht man noch so eine ganz kleine Insel. Eigentlich ist das nur ein Fischteich, aber durch diese kleine Insel finde ich es super. Und wenn man sich das Wasser anguckt, das ist ganz spiegelglatt, die Wolken spiegeln sich darin. Wahnsinn.
4 – Keine Solarpanels, sondern gespannte Netze
Bild vier sieht aus wie Sonnenkollektoren, sind es aber gar nicht. Das sind tatsächlich gespannte Netze, die noch zusätzlich verstärkt sind, wahrscheinlich damit kein Ungeziefer drankommt. Ich kann euch aber gerade nicht aus dem Kopf sagen, was das genau war, ich habe es nur von oben gesehen. Aber es sind definitiv keine Solarpanels.
5 – Herbstwald mit Tiefe
Das nächste Bild zeigt ebenfalls einen Herbstwald im Wandel. Hier hat man nochmal viel mehr Brauntöne und tatsächlich auch etwas Weiß, da stehen ein paar abgestorbene Bäume dazwischen. Besonders cool finde ich, dass man hier richtig diese Dreidimensionalität sieht, weil man durch die Abstände der Bäume ein Stück bis auf den Boden gucken kann.
6 – Winterkante am Waldrand
Auf diesem Bild sieht man den Rand des Waldes. Hier ist praktisch gar kein Grün mehr, der Herbst beziehungsweise der Winter ist hier schon richtig angekommen. Und man erkennt jetzt auch nochmal klar, dass das Motiv davor keine Photovoltaikanlagen waren, weil man die Bäume links und rechts deutlich sieht.
7 – Saubere Ausrichtung statt Beschnitt
Das letzte Bild habe ich reingenommen, um zu zeigen, dass kleine Änderungen extrem viel ausmachen können. Hier habe ich nämlich nichts weggeschnitten, sondern einfach die Drohne ein bisschen anders ausgerichtet. Und das wirkt direkt komplett anders, weil nichts Irritierendes mehr drin ist. Manchmal reicht genau das.

Sehr schöne Fotos!
Mir gefällt besonders gut das zweite mit den Wald im Herbst. Aber auch das Dritte mit der Insel hat richtig Stil. Schon wahnsinn wie anders sich die Natur darstellt, einfach aufgrund eines Perspektivwechsels.
Und dazu kommt natürlich, dass du mit deiner Kamera wirklich gut umgehen kannst.
Und das egal ob da eine Drohne dran hängt oder nicht 😄
