I travelled from Rome to Berlin once on Flixbus, overnight, and it was brilliant... I didn't sleep much, and the changes in the middle of the night in bus stations was a bit rough, BUT the journey itself was sooooo beautiful - especially the countryside roads between towns where we stopped.... and I saw some of the most glorious sights, early in the morning, as we drove back down through north Italy... well, well, well worth the €60! :-D
That sounds like an interesting journey! But why was so expensive? I went from Budapest to Zvolen, in Slovakia for just 7€ or 8€. 🤔
It was just how much it cost for that time.... maybe prices have come down to encourage folk to travel more again?
