Black and white and soviet ☺

IMAG0033.JPG

This is a very old picture taken in the 70s when my father was a student in the Soviet Union. Students there are holding a poster where they appreciate the Soviet-Algerian friendship.

It looks like a protest, but it's not. Look at their happy faces. ☺

I found ad well those two pictures with my mother. It's strange that kids aren't smiling there. But it seems that they are holding so hard those bags, maybe with candies. ☺

Those are pictures for sure from the 60s when my mother was studying at school ! Glad they smile is this picture.

It's also a cool picture, it seems from a holiday on the sea.

This one is from a party, in 70s when my father just met my mother.

Here they are dancing.

This is a wedding of one of their friends.

And this picture is really cool. It's the third-biggest church in Russia, in a town called Novocherkass, where I lived a long time and my mother is from there.

This is a picture of my father and his happy friends from Algeria who studied in the 70s in the Soviet Union.

This one I liked because I see my happy and alive grandfather there. I didn't have the chance to meet him before he dies, but at least I have those pictures to remember him from time to time. God bless him.

It's nice to look at those people in that time. They look so real to me !

I'm sharing all those pictures and thinking that sometimes some traditions are really good to respect. And they had a tradition to take pictures only of special things. Because they didn't have the chance to take a picture of every moment like we do.

I really love these vintage photos. Yes I agree back then most people only took photos where there are special occasions.

I'm glad you like them. That was a good time I guess. ☺

These are some really cool photos. Thanks for sharing some of those intimate moments with us!

You're welcome. I'm glad I can save them on the blockchain.

That's very true!
