A cornucopia of corvids in flight.

in Photography Lovers4 years ago

As you may know, my foul-mouthed dog and I recently went on a fantastic voyage to Antelope Island.
As you may have guessed, I took a shitload of Magpie Pictures.
I haven't shared them all.
I'll probably never share them all.
But, dammit, I will try.

Gawddammit, Anna, look what you did. Now he's embarrassed.Nice going.

I also took a considerable amount of photos of this pair of ravens in flight. Same place.

I am only sharing the ones I think you'll like.
DSC_5417.JPG
I only shared one of this sequence in the Antelope Island post.

I'm showing restraint, see?

It's not a photodump.
DSC_5408.JPG
I would never dump a helpless animal.
DSC_5424.JPG
I would never dump a corvid, either. I mean, if I was dating one. #celebritycrush

This is a lot of flying. I lot of head-in-the-clouds photography.
Just to bring it all down, let's end this post with a nice, grounding bison.
Also from antelope Island.

I dumped him. He wasn't my type. Not going into details.

All the stuff (pictures, words, corvids, bison etc.) I put in this post and any of my other posts is mine (unless otherwise stated) and can't be used by anyone else unless I say it's ok.

Now that's a photodump.

You are one of my favorite photographers, you definitely have a unique style and somehow you transmit it to me in your photos, something I can't explain but I love them, you are incredibly talented.

Thank you, my friend! I always hope that my love for these birds comes through in the photos. They have such big personalities, I think that helps seal the deal.
I really enjoyed your Julieta cover, by the way. I don't remember if I commented on that post or not.
Keep singing!! 🖤

When do we get to see the ones of bison in flight?

Funny you should say that. While I was out there one flew over the cuckoo's nest, but I didn't get a picture.

No way, that's mental!

Tssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Nice captures.

Out of curiosity - which is the lens used to shoot the first photograph ?

Thanks!
I usually use a Nikkor 300mm for all my wildlife shots. It came in the kit with my Nikon.

I have not used tele lenses for a long time. Thanks for the response.

Live up to your dream and share ALL of them 😁 . Nice shots! Tbh first I felt flattered when I read my name...then I saw your watermarks, which are great, ummmmmmmmmmm....can it be? Really? Like the same?

Yes!
We are in Anna Club!
We are Name Buddies!
AND WE BOTH KNOW HOW IT'S SPELLED DAMMIT.

Double N for Ann(a) ppl...one N and it's Ana which is 'Mother' in Turkish. Well since the holy Anna was the mother of Maria it kinda fits too lol. I'm hopping over to leave a comment on your fridge ;).
