Ooooooo my dream is to "hashtag vanlife" when I'm ready to retire (financially, of course, which may not be until I'm dead). I do love sleeping in the tent in the summer, but as a woman alone on the road it's so nice to have a car, i.e. tent that locks. And is waterproof, of course. I've done a little backpacking and camping in the rain, and even waterproof things have to be folded up and put away wet and muddy. All part of the experience, of course, but definitely not a part of the experience I seek out.

I know what you mean. I'd like to try wild camping but I'd need someone with me. I'm a bit of a wuss. I play safe and watch vanlife YouTube videos instead. I hope your dream comes true!
I've wild-camped alone-ish before with dogs. It's fun. And scary. Campgrounds definitely feel a million times safer (and the bathroom breaks are much easier).
Thanks! Me too. ;)
