The Sermini Palace, also known as Sermini Castle or as Castle of the Jesuits is a mansion house built in 1927 that is located in the Providencia commune in Santiago de Chile. An important example of the architecture of another era, it was about to be demolished due to current regulations on the height of buildings and other urban and municipal guidelines; However, it was rescued from that faith and there are plans to soon turn it into the headquarters of different cultural initiatives, taking advantage not only of its structure but also its location. Can you imagine what it must be like to attend a painting exhibition there? Or to a literary gathering? I still don't know the interior of the place, but it must be dreamy. I hope to know it very soon
El Palacio Sermini, también conocido como Castillo Sermini o como Castillo de Los Jesuitas es una casa mansión construida en 1927 que está ubicada en la comuna de Providencia en Santiago de Chile. Importante muestra de la arquitectura de otra época, estuvo a punto de ser demolido debido a regulaciones actuales sobre la altura de los edificios y otras directrices urbanas y municipales; sin embargo, fue rescatado de ese destino y existe un plan para convertirlo proximamente en sede de diferentes iniciativas culturales, aprovechando no sólo su estructura sino también su ubicación, ¿se imaginan lo que debe ser asistir a una expopsición de pintura allí? ¿o a una tertulia literaria? Aún no conozco el interior del lugar, pero debe ser de ensueño. Espero poder conocerlo muy pronto.
