An interesting walk in Bialystok (14 photos)

Hello everybody! I enjoy visiting different cities and experiencing their unique atmosphere. Yes, I believe that each city is not only history, but also a certain atmosphere. Today I want to tell you about my trip to the Polish city of Bialystok.

Bialystok is an eastern city with a rich history. In different periods of time, it belonged to different states. This city, like many others, survived the bombing of the Second World War.

The main attraction in my opinion is the old square. It brings together the inhabitants of the city and cultural monuments are located on it.

This place has absorbed the spirit of old Europe. From many points of the city you can see the main attraction - the Catholic Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The towers of the cathedral building are visible from many points in Bialystok. This is a place that attracts tourists and residents of the city. It is unique and popular with believers.

Every Sunday, many townspeople gather there. The city is surprisingly respectful of religion and cultural heritage.

Among other things, a huge number of tents and shops will not leave anyone indifferent. On weekends, despite the pandemic, a huge number of people gather there who enjoy drinking beer and eating various dishes.

The famous Branicki Palace is also worth mentioning. This is a unique historical place where you can enjoy the art or just relax and spend time in silence.

Another attraction that I managed to visit is the Church of St. Roch. It is high enough to be seen from anywhere in the city. Almost like another church.

In general, there are many different monuments in the city center. I also like the fact that the monuments are located in the "green" zones. Places with a lot of greenery. Many parks balance beautifully against the backdrop of buildings.

Every detail of the city is unique in its own way. I like it when walking down the street you can accidentally stumble upon any sight. I like to notice small details.

Even the shopping center is unique. In fact, this is an old building that has been absorbed by modern architecture. In order to preserve the history, part of the building is located right inside the shopping center. Laconic.

Despite the fact that Bialystok is not as developed as other Polish cities, it boasts of its many attractions. This city has a contrast, which makes it interesting.

I spent half a day in this city and never once became yellow. Bialystok left behind a feeling of richness. It was an interesting day in an interesting city. I advise everyone who has such an opportunity to visit it.
