Forest Adventure

in Photography Lovers3 years ago (edited)

Hello everybody! Yesterday the weather was beautiful and we decided to go to the forest. Until that moment, it had rained, which means that it will be possible to pick up mushrooms in the forest. Hiking in the forest is a way for me to actively relax, calm my nerves and discover the "gifts of nature".

The forest we went to is quite old. There are many fallen trees throughout the forest. It looks interesting enough, although it interferes with movement.

Previously, fallen trees became the property of people. People came and took these trees for their own needs. Thus, the forest became quieter. But recently, the authorities banned this.

In summer, the weather was dry, which led to forest fires. At the site of these fires, near the trees, I found many mushrooms. This was a discovery for me, because I thought that mushrooms would not grow at the site of the fires.

There were many mushrooms of two types in the forest - boletus and Polish moss (Imleria badia). There were others, but these were toadstools and fly agarics. Rarely did I find those mushrooms whose names I do not know. But I never take unknown mushrooms.

The forest is not only a place for hiking or picking mushrooms, but also for taking great photos. All that is needed for this is imagination and a smartphone camera. Two irreplaceable ingredients.

Soon I began to come across traces of wild animals. They are wary of people and therefore keep their distance. If deer are not dangerous, then wild boars, wolves and bears are dangerous to humans. I found a Deer footprint in the sand.

This forest walk brought me a lot of mushrooms and pleasant impressions. In the forest, time stops, but in fact it goes faster. Especially when you are looking for photo locations.

My time in the forest passed very quickly and soon I had to return to the road. Surprisingly, in addition to the large number of mushrooms, there were many ticks in the forest. Perhaps this is also related to the fires and the change of the eco-system.

It was an interesting forest adventure anyway. It remains only to cook all the collected mushrooms. This is a great excuse to make a delicious dinner. All photos were taken by me on the camera of the Xiaomi smartphone. Thanks to those who read and support.

Glad you got to get out and that the rain let up... perfect for mushroom hunting. You got some excellent shots. Great job on the framing and composition! You could also consider cross-posting this in the Fungi Lovers Community because i am sure they would enjoy this post! Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing.

agree, this is a very cool piece of photography, and such a lovely landscapes. and since theres no #mushrooms tag - it is off my radar.

thanks for giving a hint!

I totally agree! I don't think Danny knew about the Fungi Lovers community or about the cross-posting feature. There are 3 spots for more tags and #mushrooms definitely should have been one. Hindsight is 20/20 though. I had a feeling the FL community would appreciate these magnificent shots. My favorite is thsi one...

which one is yours?

I am always in love with wide-angle takes of some sort, this is one of them, maybe it was my 3rd fave in the post.

with this being #1, and the last frame being #2 -- those crooked pines are fabulous! not a great photo technically (overexposed in the lights) but a very cool and unique find.

Thank you for appreciating my work.👍 I didn't know about this tag before and about the community. Now I will be informed! I experiment and learn to take interesting and high-quality photos.

Yes, I really didn't know about it before. But now thanks to you I know. I also liked this photo. I almost had to lie on the ground to take this photo:)

Thank you very much for your comment, support and feedback. Can I write a new one to this community or this article about my trip?

If you use peakd.com there is a cross-post option where you can share it there without having to write a new post. If you do make a new post then you would want to have it be different or more. Posting the same post in different communities is frowned upon unless you take advantage of the cross-post feature.

If you look at your post on peakd.com at the bottom close to where it shows the votes... to the right is three dots. Click there and it says Cross Post in... and you would click that and add the community. I hope that helps. =)

I didn’t know about such a function before. This helped me, thanks for the great advice!

there is a new community to guide and support Russian-speaking users. We plan to produce at some point Russian publications covering different guides on important Hive issues, like: abuse and copyright knowledge, tokens & Hive-engine, Peakd/Ecency and different front-ends, etc. Subscribe and get yourself educated! 👍

Спасибо за приглашение, я вступил в сообщество и буду активничать (по мере возможностей) 👍

You are very welcome! Keep on keepin' on! =)

Nice boletes!
