Hello to all! Each city has its own cultural and architectural attractions. But in Pinsk, on the territory of one street, there are architectural creations of different eras. This city ranks second in the Republic of Belarus in terms of the number of preserved architectural monuments. During the existence of Pinsk, buildings were revived in it, in which traditions, styles and eras of different times harmoniously combine. I spent time exploring the main street of the main city of Belarusian Polesye. Before the Soviet government came to power, this street was called Bolshaya Spasskaya, Bolshaya Franciskanskaya, Bolshaya Kievskaya and simply - Bolshaya (Literally - Big). Now it is called Lenin Street.
At the beginning of the street, we are met by a sculpture of a poleshka, that is, an ancient inhabitant of woodland. The sculpture has a collective image of a typical inhabitant of bygone times. He bends his little finger and says the phrase "Firstly, I'm from Pinsk." However, further down the street is replete with buildings of the late XIX - early XX centuries, typical of Western Belarus. They are perfectly preserved. Most of the buildings have the status of architectural monuments. Chief among them are the magnificent buildings of the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Among other things, there are multiple old buildings on the street. Each of them has its own centuries-old history and currently stands out against the backdrop of city buildings.
Near the street is Polessky Drama Theatre. This place is popular among city residents and tourists. Every week, the Drama Theater delights visitors with interesting performances.

At the end of the street there is a building where marriages take place. This is a classicist palace owned by Mateusz Butrimovic. Initially, the building was an estate, and in the course of history it changed its original functions several times. Now it is one of the most beautiful registry offices in Eastern Europe.

On the house at number 14 there is a mural depicting street quarters of the 20th century and with an inscription in Belarusian. It looks quite atmospheric, especially in black and white. Obviously, this street was no less beautiful than it is now.
The street ends with a no less picturesque historical building. It is currently a dining room.
Finally, I want to show one residential building, which looks very interesting from a certain angle. Balconies merge into one whole picture. It looks more impressive in black and white.
A walk in the main artery of the city of Pinsk left an indelible impression on me. This place is full of architectural sights. A place that attracts not only architecture lovers, like me, but also tourists and residents of the city. The ancient street of Pinsk rightfully occupies one of the most beautiful walking places in Belarus.
