These are the final photos from our short trip out to Lake Minnewanka, last April. A transitional month where the snow and ice are in full melt mode. Over yonder is Cascade mountain — still covered with snow; a big contrast to this road in front. So cool when you can wear a t-shirt, yet see the mountain snowtops. In fact, you will see a bit of snow remain at the very tops, year-round! Will be heading back to the general area next week, hoping for nice above average temperatures, so we can get in a couple more hikes before the real snow flies. Fingers crossed. Thanks for stopping by.

I like the second one the most, the contrast with the spring coming on the sides of the river yet the snow still there a bit
I really love those trees. It's appealing to the eyes and ofcourse the mountains.
I like the first photo , capturing the trees on both sides of the road going towards the stunning view of the mountain with snow .
The view is really fresh, especially the first and second pictures, it really gives off a natural adventure vibe that calms the heart.
