On the way back from Blakiston Falls, Red Rock canyon, I was able to squeeze in one more hike, or so I thought. I had been eyeing this 7 kilometre prairie trail hike for over a year or so, ever since our first visit out here in 2024. I’d be like hmmmmm, I wonder if it is worth a closer look? So I decided to pull over and park, as the trailhead was virtually at the roadside and easy to access. Apparently the trail takes you all the way to a Buffalo paddock near the park entrance. Cool, let’s go!! Thanks for stopping by.

The view of the meadow looked absolutely beautiful. I imagined if the grass were a little taller and there were small, colorful flowers, the view would be even more spectacular. Especially with the blue sky in the distance as a backdrop.
Earlier in the year, apparently there are plenty of wildflowers to view on this trail. Will need to return in early Summer someday.
Since the distance didn't feel like it was long, how many hours did the hike eventually take?
Well, as it turned out, I decided to abort the hike..
The first picture is great, it transmits so much comfort and quiet vibes
Thanks, I love that photo as well.
Love the color on the 1st photo graph, how fast would a CR450 go on that trail
I’m guessing very fast..
Hehe yesss
Nice photo. Mountains look like strength, resilence, resistance, and calm.
You got that right!
Thanks.
