This is one of them hikes that requires you to cross a bridge. It is always an extra thrill to be able to cross a bridge, or a walking bridge, and even a boardwalk of any dimension. How about a suspension bridge?! While on Vancouver island last Summer we walked out on a suspension bridge to view a water fall — that was pretty awesome. As you can tell, the river level was quite low at the time these photos were taken. Definitely around now July 1st, this river Kootenay will be flowing higher and stronger. Wall over bridges designed just for humans it's kinda nice sometimes, those made also for cars are quite ugly and not much exciting with all the smog
I love bridges, paths and, even more so, landscapes featuring nature, water and lots of trees. I’ve never crossed a suspension bridge before; it must be an interesting experience, especially because of the views you can enjoy from it.
