Let’s go for a wonder around the beach. This is Long Beach, one of Vancouver Island’s finest surfing hangouts. After spending sometime appreciating the ocean, I thought we’d go exploring a bit. Remember when you were a kid and you used to go exploring with your friends or parents? Well this kind of felt like it. Maybe after we are done, it will be time for some ice cream! I like it. Did you do any exploring lately? Thanks for stopping day.

What a nice island! So many old stumps and rotting logs to take some great pictures. Not to mention how green it is, what a cool place! No exploring lately for me. At least no outside my local area. Traffic is horrible here in southern California so I avoid it as much as possible!
How long of a drive to the ocean for you?
On a good day about 20 minutes, but there is always traffic. Then the parking itself at the beach is overpriced if you can find a decent spot. It kind of takes all of the fun out of it!
I see, sounds very congested. Probably would be hours to get to a more remote beach.
Isn't it lovely when there is a path with something on the sides and the middle opens to the beach? It's fantastic!
Magical yes, even surreal!
I still like walking through little "portals" like the opening photo but every now and again depending on the feel of the place I'm genuinely concerned I may accidentally step through a rift XD
Exploring may not be for you then lol
Hey man some places just feel weird XD
Even the remaining pieces of the tree look interesting. They look like big spiders😅
Lots of things to discover on the beach.
Indeed yes, thanks.
