First stop on my trip to Waterton lakes Park was to Red Rock canyon. More specifically, a hike to Blakiston Falls. Last time we were here, and part way into the hike, a bear was spotted on the trail, so we decided to abort the hike. So this is round two you might say. The hike itself was a short one, taking about 45 minutes to reach the falls. Elevation gain was also minimal, which my sore knees appreciated! These photos were taken just before the trailhead. Pretty place, nice shot of the crow on the stop sign! Are traffic signs in Canada required to be in French as well? Always wondered that...
Too bad the hike was aborted, but best to avoid bears!

The traffic signs for the most part are in English, but the closer you get to Quebec, I believe you have more dual signage.
We encountered a bear last time, but this time I did make it to the falls, and a bear was spotted while on the return trip too!
I hope you always keep that bear spray handy!
