Here is a glimpse of what it felt like to wander around the grove via this beautiful boardwalk. I am big fan of well made boardwalks. It does feel very satisfying to walk around; even adding a hint of excitement to the experience! The ratio of living trees to downed tree was approximately 10:1. Bound to be some dead ones, as this forest holds some seriously old trees. Some of them massive downed tree roots, could be used as makeshift homes for any number of different critters. Hey thanks for taking a walk around the Forest grove boardwalk!

I've been to a few forested areas that have a similar vibe. Very magical.
Kind of like an enchanted forest.
The design of the path is very beautiful, it is very comfortable to walk through it. The tree roots look beautiful, but when you look at them a little longer, the appearance is a bit scary. But still cool👍
Well possibly, it is darker under all the large trees. If you were alone, a bit scary yes perhaps.
I also find interesting that catwalk, makes you go around there from a privileged path
That trees are indeed really big, the fallen one must have had like hundreds years
They say some of the trees are over 800 years old!
Such a beautiful place. I love the living green of the live trees, but the dead ones really make for the coolest pictures. Great job on all of those. Nice boardwalks are great out in nature aren't they? Not many places I tend to go have them but I love the feel of them. Out in nature sure beats the boardwalk in Atlantic City, New Jersey, although the food is better in A.C.! lol

No, just a boardwalk.
