Lower Lineham Falls? Well about a kilometre or so from the major Lineham Falls there is a much smaller fall located just off the trailhead, along Lineham Creek. Obviously at much smaller scale than big brother. What caught my eye in particular though was the dark red rocks. The rich iron oxide content in the rocks makes them so red. Pretty cool eh?! The entire area or a large portion of Waterton Lakes Park have an unusually high amount of iron oxide content. Thanks for stopping by.

I am always fascinated by the sight of falling water it is truly beautiful. The presence of red rocks there makes the place look even more spectacular.
I could have stayed there for hours admiring the flowing water.
I think that in black and white the green and red colors are not visible and for that we can't feel the true beauty of it but when it comes to water, I feel water seems more beautiful in black and white photography.
I agree with that. I always just love to present both versions for that side by side comparison. Mountains tend to really shine in black and white.
I love them both; they're each beautiful in their own unique way.
Thank you. Glad you liked it.
That’s gotta be so peaceful live in person.
It was pretty awesome.
The deep red stones are extraordinary! Nature always amazes us with its unique colors and formations.
Yes the deep red colour was so unique.
