Last week we drove out to one of Saskatchewan’s most famous attractions. One of only three places on earth where the water salinity is so high, it allows you to float without a life jacket. It’s incredible actually!

The floating dock, a popular place to hang out.

That day it was 34° (Celsius), suprisingly, it was not full of people enjoying the water.

A strange symbol on the other side of the lake. A little grainy, but the Huawei’s zoom does an ok job on this.

Unfortunately the Burger Buoy is closed today 🙁.

Located about an hour and a half from Saskatoon. A Huawei P40 Pro smartphone was used.

Looks like a sun symbol.

I love water that you can float in. I actually didn't know they had some out there,it is definitely on my radar.

What a great place to take the family!

My thoughts too!! A symbol to honour the sun. ❤☀️🎵

:)) Yes!

It was such fun, only wish the burger buoy was open..

Yes. The food would have been the bonus you were looking for. :)

Wow! I have not experience that ever!

What a beautiful view!

This spot is defiantly 'the middle of nowhere!' Such a gem it is. One of my faves. Thanks for sharing!! Cool you took the day to enjoy a very cool natural wonder so close to your home!!

It was really a blast, love it. Want to go again.

Was it your 1st visit there?

We’ve been a few times now.

Whoops, I saw this yesterday and forgot to comment D: I'm sorry.

34º Celsius is a lot. Where I live we are currently at 22-24º and I feel like I'm going to melt. I would not hesitate to get in the water if the temperature is at 34º. I'm just as surprised as you to see that people are not there xD.

Good guess, but its so close to the water. Likely not.
