Let’s take a walk through the Community Forest, here in Cranbrook, British Columbia (or should I say a “Meander” through the forest). What a great thing to have, a nice forest with winding trails on the edge of town! What more could one want? This stretch of forest encompasses about 20 square kilometres in total. Mostly zero elevation gain/loss trails with the exception of the one or two mountain trails which require a little more effort, bring your trekking poles for that. Thanks for stopping by.

This has to be one of your best hikes. Don't get me wrong, I know you prefer the mountain hikes and the higher elevations. But this is absolutely cool especially if you just want to sit down on the grass and just enjoy the fresh air.. and look over the green lake that's just ahead. It's simply great for a picnic
Yes, I've done this hike about 3 times over the last year or so. I really enjoyed it. Probably there again next week actually.
Wow, amazing pictures. In the second image you can really see the true beauty of nature. The beautiful path and the greenery and trees on both sides, and the contrast of the sky make it a truly wonderful capture.
A wonderful experience it was, looking forward to next time.
Nature smiles upon your exploration of the place; the weather, sky, clouds, and trees all come together beautifully in a single frame when you snap the shot.
Yes, such a pleasure to walk around nature and enjoy the scenery.
