Moving on from Lake Louise, it is time to head northward to Jasper. Jasper is also located inside the great province of Alberta. Mostly I tend to stay around the Banff Park area, but once in awhile I do like to venture into Jasper. One factor we did have to deal with though was the excess smoke in the air, leftover from the forest fire activity in the general area. Not exactly ideal, but sometimes you just need to roll with the punches, and make the best of things. This is smoky Lake Annette, a tiny little lake located a stone’s throw away from the town of Jasper. Took us approximately one hour or so to walk around this one. We definitely will need to head back here again sometime, and hopefully avoid the smoky skies next time around.

Nice shot's, still looks like a good time even with a bit of smoke. Those rocks in the water look like a road too. You ever do any fishing up there?

No less beautiful than the place where you visited yesterday, this image gives a different ordinary, I really like the two sides of photography, want color photography or black and white photography, both have different meanings and beauty.

@daveks, I'm entranced by Little Annette! Why? I'm watching the greenish brown pebbles or rocks? and how they are snuggled so close to each other on the floor of the shallow waters ( but I'm not really sure it's shallow).
