Well here we are on the island. New Castle Island that is, just across the water from the city of Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada. The goal was to hike around the island, which I figured wouldn't take more than about 2.5 hours-ish. Off we went. A friend of mine who recommended this place said we ought to start out counter clockwise, so we did. The weather was fabulous, couldn’t have asked for anything better. Right now it is about 50 degrees, when we there in the summer it was in the 80’s.

The weather around the island now is about 8°C, wish I was there now.
Ohhh so I assume it’s super cold now there already. Yeah here it still feels like humid but should change to be a bit colder hopefully but not that like the cold weather there 😅
