Precious Trees

A hike is not complete without some amazing trees to gaze at. I found these on the way back from Panaroma resort as I was driving away, they caught my eye, so I just had to pull over and capture a few precious moments. The green colours were just outstanding! Don’t you just love nature? I do. Aside from nature, what other things are precious to you? Do let us know in the comment section below. Thanks as always for stopping by.

That third shot is amazing, with the hazy mountain in the background and all of the beautiful pine trees! All are great shots in there today, I can see why you want a round two out there!

How was today's first challenging hike? I hope it was enjoyable and bear free! I've not been out hiking so far this year. The old Army injuries have made true hiking a lot less fun. I prefer short hikes with little elevation gain, mostly when I go out metal detecting for gold nuggets in some of my favorite "secret" spots! lol

Enjoy that vacation time and the time with your family. The kids grow up and move away so fast!

Today's hike took about 3.5 hours, and yes it was more challenging than yesterday's warm up hike. We did about 450 metres or 1500 feet of elevation gain. The hike was called "Mother's Day hill”, located about 20 minutes from Cranbrook, BC. I’ll be posting the pics in the coming months, still haven’t finished publishing the last few hikes yet. Also I have decided not to use the iPhone for publishing here on Hive, just way too many pics to deal with. Thanks for stopping by.

This looks absolutely breathtaking @daveks! The sheer density of those pine trees covering the hillside is incredible. There’s something so peaceful about staring into a endless green forest like this You captured the scale and the fresh mountain vibe perfectly during your drive back Wonderful shot 🌲 green vibes all the way

Thanks @animenexus. Love nature, a medicine for the soul.

The trees in the forest in the first photo look stunning. When I come across such beautiful scenery, I often pull over. Nature is perhaps our most beautiful refuge, bringing light and peace to our weary hearts.

Very true statement! If you want to unstress, the recipe is nature.

I guess the company also, a good trip but without good company, loses a lot of the experience and the joy

Good point. Important to be around like minded people, otherwise things can go sideways.

I like the second to the last colored picture, it just captures the beauty of the whole area and the vastness of the tall tree areas. How do you determine which places to take pictures of, is it by just looking at the beauty?

Yes, when something catches my eye and it looks appealing, I take out the camera.

I see forests as the pillars that hold nature together. A dense forest, probably untouched by damage. I liked your photos. Sharing is caring.

Thanks for stopping by, yes nature and forests go hand in hand.

The dense green trees prove that the place truly still has cool air and a peaceful atmosphere. Hopefully, the trees will continue to grow peacefully there.

Hope men do not come in to harvest the wood.

You did an excellent job with these photos

Glad you liked it.

Absolutely beautiful and stunning. We have a similar spot in Valley Tangi that offers almost the exact same scenic view

Interesting, I'll have to check it out.

Amazing !these shots are great!

Thanks!

I am missing you, is there a problem?

Just simply missed it, maybe I should turn my auto vote back on.

Yeah, I thought that it was something like that.
No, problem :)
