Pristine Mountain Trails

DSC00686.jpeg

The trails on the way to Lineham falls were pristine and easy to follow. Some of the best manicured trails inside Waterton Lakes Park actually. Sometimes you encounter trails with excessive roots, which are not my favourite to hike on, and can be hazardous to your ankles if you aren’t careful. It was a real pleasure following this trail to Lineham Falls! Gradual elevation gain, smooth and pleasant to follow. I’ll be sure to come around here again in the future, perhaps when the sun is shining a bit more would be a bonus. Thanks for stopping by.

The terrains looks really lovely, even though it can be challenging to hike on. I also think that not having tall trees around can mean that the hike can get really tiring if it gets hot, since there are no shades

Good point, it certainly would be quite hot on a sunny day, but a little better for photography. Blue skies always look nice.

What a gorgeous hike! I love all the greenery on the ground and the amazing peak off in the distance in that last shot! You do have to be careful for roots though, a twisted ankle can ruin the day's fun! I knew a lady who broke her ankle near the top of a mountain and had to be airlifted out. Talk about a bad end to a hike! lol

Beautiful shots!

Yikes, talk about bad luck (or bad planning).

It was an amazing hike that will need to be repeated!

Hiking is not just for fun but also an exercise and enjoyable win you have your family and friends.. a nature lover hobbies..

Exactly. Well said. Thanks for stopping by.

It’s a really nice place, the mountain really got my eyes! but as you mentioned, you really need to be careful when hiking, as you could end up with a broken ankle. That’s why you need to be extra cautious when walking around this area.

Wearing proper hiking shoes does help to prevent twists and such.

It seems the trail is well-maintained and many people pass by here every day. It wouldn't look this nice if only a few people used it and it wasn't maintained.

True, also as it is inside a national park it does get extra attention.

Calling them the best manicured trails in Waterton is high praise, especially after those root-covered ones that go for your ankles.

The national parks always or mostly have decent trails, thats where some of our entry fees go.

Gradual elevation gain with no ankle-breaking roots is exactly what makes a trail worth coming back to, and Lineham Falls sounds like the perfect payoff.

Indeed, a memorable hike that will need to be repeated sooner rather than later.

That's such a nice view and great capture as well. Thanks for sharing and do have a wonderful day.

Thanks for stoping by for a look.

You're welcome

Lovely view. Enjoying some days in such a place can be relaxing if there is a place to stay.

It was a great hike with great views. Thanks.

You will be able to enjoy the beautiful sunshine and even more enchanting scenery!

Could of used a bit more sunshine on this day, but still pretty awesome.

It was an absolute pleasure to hike that day.
