I guess I missed “Random Friday” by a day. So we’ll call it Random Saturday this time. What did you get up to this week? Anything special or fun? I just got back from British Columbia tonight, did four days of various hiking adventures, which I’ll talk about in the coming weeks. Fall is such a beautiful time of year, especially in the mountains. The scenery was spectacular on the drive back! Sure glad I take holidays every September. I really ought to move here. After your daily hike, do you go back to your own home, or is there like, an AIRBNB close by that you're renting, close to the hike area, and then you continue the hike the next day?
Usually I go back home or stay at a friends place, depending on how far out I go. Sometimes for example in Radium I stay at cheap motel, as it is used basically for sleeping only.
Yeah, I figured you'll always need places to sleep during some of these hikes.
The images are stunning; even the dead tree commands attention. However, the snow in the last picture is even more captivating it’s unique, resembling a waterfall.
In fact, the last picture was of a frozen water fall! Thanks for stopping by.
This might qualify for Caturday if there is a Bobcat crouching down at the top of that mountain in the distance.
