This is gorgeous Rock Isle Lake. A tiny little lake located at the top of Sunshine Village, Banff Park, Alberta. Actually, looking a bit closer at the map, the lake is about 500 metres from the top of the lift, which is located in British Columbia. So Sunshine village, Alberta and Rock Isle Lake, British Columbia, actually. Two provinces conquered in one simple hike! Love it. The colour of the water is really quite stunning, very little editing done on these photos actually. If you ever find yourself in Banff Park, due plan on visiting Sunshine Meadows at Sunshine Village.
