Aside from the snow on the mountain peaks, you wouldn’t know it was the first month of Winter in the Canadian Rockies (November). It was such a pleasant surprise to be able to walk around in the warmth considering it was actually “Winter”. It felt like I had won a weather prize or a lottery of sorts. I love it when the weather shocks to the upside! That being said, mountain weather is famous for its ability to turn on a dime. One hour sunshine and warmth, next hour wind and snow, mixed in with rain and sleet. Anything can happen in the Rockies, and often the forecast is off too. Thanks for stopping by.
