Warmer Hikes > Colder Stuff

A few shots of my surroundings, as I made my way back to the Bertha Lake perimetre trailhead. The snow stays suspended in the mountains here well into Summer, only for 1-2 months the mountains are free of that white tough. Then the reprieve is over. Maybe someday I’ll have the pleasure of snowshoeing around the lake, but knowing me, probably not. I prefer the warmer hikes to that colder stuff way too much lol. Thanks for stopping by.

What an extraordinary natural landscape! Even in summer, the snow-capped mountains radiate a magical beauty. That said, I can certainly understand why you prefer hiking in warmer weather!

I also think that visiting there in warm weather is good and we can see different colors of nature, but if it is covered by Ice we may not see the different colors there.

Why do you prefer the warmer hike? I believe that when its a bit cold, then you don't get easily tired of the bike, you don't effectively sweat because temperature is low and the air is fresher. This is just me though.. I don't know, it might be different for you.

The first picture is really great...
