Finally!

I don't know about the rest of the world but the weather here in England has been terrible over the last 2-3 months, but we had a clear night!!

I'd recently had my telescope collimated, I knew it needed it as when I was looking through it, it was really dull, as if I'd got an ND filter on it, anyhow, after collimation, I just can't believe how much better it looked, certainly £30 well spent.

I am more than pleased with the scope now, an old teacher of mine contacted me a few years ago and gave me the scope as he knew I was in to my space stuff, but now, it's like a brand new scope, even though it is an old one, with no tracker, so all the shots you can see here are single shots, not tracked or anything.

All the extra close up shots were done using a 2x Barlow Lens, sadly it does reduce quality / light when using one, but it's great to give you that extra zoom when needed.

I really can't wait to get out with the scope again as I want to try using a red filter on the scope and shoot in mono, this supposed to bring out sharpness and detail, but I've not yet tried it.

I do really hope you have enjoyed these shots, it's been a while since I have posted but I'm hoping for more regular posts to come.

Thanks for reading :-)
