Sunrise and the beached Jellyfish

It's sort of Sad

Imagine swimming in the ocean one minute minding your fishy business and bam you're on the sand grasping for water. That's also what life feels like, swimming along and bam something takes you out...

I needed some time away this past weekend. I am still two client galleries behind and needed a recharge. 2 nights still don't seem enough. My batteries still feel dead.

I woke up early Saturday morning as the sun was rising over the horizon and walked down to the ocean where high tide was still coming in. When high tide happens things wash up on the shore. Things like this jellyfish.

Surprisingly what most people don't know, is you can pick up a jellyfish without getting stung. It's only the tentacles that sting you. Keep to the top part of the sea creature and you'll be fine! I've stepped on them before.

I also found a plethora of sea shells. A bunch came home with me. I give them to my turtle every time I visit the beach!
